The main character of this exciting novel is a Blackfoot Indian who is a Green Beret. His life had been one of fighting, first to be accepted as an equal, then to prove his worth to American society. He was proud of his heritage and the fact he was a soldier, one of the best in the world.His life changed when his wife of twenty five years was killed and her murderer set free. He sought and found vengeance for the first time in his life. When his son was killed he resorted to his Indian heritage to seek justice. He would destroy the very foundation of America that had wronged him. He would make them all pay for allowing murderers to be set free.He would set the entire American continent back to the Stone Age. He would die in doing so. Like his ancestors of long ago he would die in fighting the system. But sometimes a man has to fight.This plot is very smooth with no gaps, making it hard to put down. There is no typical plot line, but are turns that keeps the story rich. The use of Indian culture and tradition is woven in nicely. There are very few characters, and they are well developed.
